There is a queen Murphy bed, with 2 pillows that tucks up against the wall to make more room during the day plus a set of twin bunks, each with one pillow.

The small efficient kitchenette is equipped with all your basic cooking needs. It includes a two burner propane cook top, a manual drip coffee maker, pots and a frying pan, cooking utensils, paper plates, cups, bowls, as well as silverware and coffee mugs.

We provide you with a five gallon jug of potable water for drinking and washing.

You will also find for your convenience paper towels, napkins, dish sponge, dish soap...

If you like to barbeque you also have the use of a gas grill with a side burner.

The bathroom, located in an out building, has a composting toilet. (toilet paper included)

Composting is a natural recycling process where waste and toilet paper are broken down by microbes and converted back to earth.

When you stay with us in Bear Cove, you literally get away from it all.

There is no electricity at this cabin or anywhere in Bear Cove. Water is limited, depending on rainfall for our cistern system.  All our energy is generated by solar power or propane.

You may or may not have phone service, depending on your cell phone provider.

The cabin is heated with a small propane heater and lights, when needed, are two battery lanterns and two flashlights. Solar lights line the path to the bathroom.

Please know that Bear Cove has some very rugged terrain and our facilities are not handicap accessible.
